Yoga Practice The Junction Pilates Classes Instruction

Why is it Different?

Physiotherapist led Exercise and Clinical Pilates takes Pilates a step further.

It recognizes that individuals who have suffered an injury or experience chronic

pain often have specific movement impairments or weaknesses.

Clinical Pilates programs are specifically designed to target the individual’s needs

and movement preferences.  The program is then progressed gradually as the

individual’s control and endurance improves.

Clinical Pilates uses a combination of modern equipment including:

  • reformer,

  • trapeze

  • barrel,

  • resistance band and ball and

  • mat exercises.

This equipment facilitates optimum muscle recruitment.

Additionally, Clinical Pilates can be used to:

  • Supplement conventional training

  • Assist rehabilitation post injury

  • Facilitate movement of painful joints in a controlled and supported environment

  • Postural Retraining
