Deidre graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in 1992.

​

Since then she has had extensive experience at Royal Newcastle Hospital,
Muswellbrook Hospital, Belmont Hospital and in Michigan. She has worked
in both outpatients, paediatrics and orthopaedics. 

​

Working at Jennifer Finnie Physiotherapy since 1996, Deidre is one of our
primary hand therapists.

​

She is an associate member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association.

  

Her special interests are in:

• Hands

  •  - post operative treatment,

  • - splinting

  • - arthritis

• Necks

• Shoulders

Deidre has 18 years of experience in working with local hand surgeons.

​

She has a particular interest in upper limb movement disorders.

Her caring patient nature makes her a favourite with her clients.

​

Her interests outside of work are her family, walking, holidays, golf and tennis

(she is an A-grade player).
